Today we started a big tidy up of the garden. We started removing the tomato plants, weeding, and getting the bags ready for winter. We will now order some more soil and compost to top up the bags, as they have got a big saggy. This will also give some added nutrients for next year. Lucille helped get rid of a tree that just didn't work in the garden, freeing up a bag for one of the people on the waiting list. June and Sophia did lots of weeding, Frances helped rake up the leaves, and Mahmud and Gordon worked with Agim to move one of the bags that was obstructing a drain cover.
